The Trenton Community Street Team (TCST) is a Community Violence Interruption (CVI) organization rooted in Trenton, dedicated to interrupting violence, mentoring youth, and connecting families to critical services. Made up of trained professionals and local residents, TCST walks alongside the community to keep young people safe and build a more connected, safer Trenton.
SAFE passage worker
We’re hiring part-time, Safe Passage Workers, community members who will stand as a support system for our youth as they travel to and from school, and serve as trusted messengers that reflect the best of Trenton. If you’re bilingual or trilingual, that’s always a plus.
It’s more than just a job, It’s about being of service and showing that better is possible.

outreach hybrid worker
We’re looking for Outreach Hybrid Workers: This full-time position combines the work of our Outreach team with Safe Passage. It means interrupting violence in real time, mentoring young people, linking families to resources, and ensuring youth have safe passage every day. Being bilingual or trilingual is a major plus because our strength is in being able to meet people where they are. If you’re bilingual or trilingual, that’s always a plus.
