The Full Story

About

The Trenton Community Street Team, was established as a community-based response to
violence in the city of Trenton. Since its creation in the Summer of 2022, the organization has
actively worked to address the root causes of violence, strengthen community ties, and create a
safer environment for all residents of Trenton. By sponsoring the Trenton Youth Amplification
Grant Program, the Trenton Community Street Team aims to support initiatives that align with
its mission and contribute to the long-term well-being of the community. Trenton Community
Street Team is a part of Isles, Inc., which provides backbone and infrastructure support in its
effort to ensure Trenton is a healthy, safe, sustainable community.

Building A Better Way for Trenton Inc. (A Better Way), is a grassroots nonprofit organization
dedicated to providing needed support to veterans, individuals who were previously
incarcerated, those with background issues, at-risk youth, and their families. They provide
exposure to counseling, career development, life skills, and volunteerism. Individuals who
receive their services and master these strategies have had a positive impact on society and
have become role models for their families and communities.
