COMMUNITY WALKS

Every month, TCST conducts organized walks in various neighborhoods in Trenton. These walks facilitate direct conversations with Trentonians to address community issues such as public safety, neighborhood beautification, and other community priorities on a block-by-block basis.

During these walks, TCST collaborates with various service providers to offer immediate responses and solutions. The insights gathered during Community Walks are amplified through our monthly THESIS (Public Safety Roundtable Discussions), ensuring that community concerns reach a broader audience.

MARCHING TOGETHER

On June 8th, in honor of Gun Violence Awareness Weekend, TCST partnered with Trenton residents and over 35 local, state & national partners to march through neighborhoods and streets most impacted by gun violence in the city of Trenton: North 25, Prospect Village, Bellevue Avenue, Stuyvesant Avenue, and Roger Gardens. With Trenton’s youth leading the march, we honored victims, survivors, and families affected by gun violence and called for healing, justice, & equality. In total, approximately 123 of us marched together. We ended the march at Cadwalader Park and joined a nationally recognized Wear Orange event, sponsored by Moms Demand Action, in collaboration with the City of Trenton & Trenton Community Street Team.
